Dear friends, followers and customers of Liza's of Schenectady - we are writing to officially announce we have decided to permanently close our doors in downtown Schenectady. Our hearts are heavy and though, we would have loved a celebratory last day of service, March 1 was our final day at 508 State Street. While we want to be very clear that this decision was far from easy, we also want to emphasize that it is the best decision for Liza's as a whole. We want to send a sincere thank you to all of our customers, our regulars who are so loyal to us and to the supporting businesses in the area! Our time in Schenectady provided us with such a diverse clientele. We didn't have an age group, it was people from all walks of life. Every week we were proudly exposing Liza's, our mission and our product, to new customers - and for that, we are eternally grateful. This has been an extremely emotional process, however, we cannot commence on any more business guided by emotion. We are extremely confident that making this decision awards us in becoming a stronger and much healthier entity and we are looking forward to focusing on the continued growth in our Troy location and what's to come for Liza's. In the meantime, you can follow Palette, a women owned co-working concept, creating space for women to get work done alongside a latte or cocktail while also offering memberships, even programming and concierge services - soon to opening inside 508 State Street!
